The paper documentation phase of crime scene processing will be emphasized in this course. Officers will learn how to take paper notes, complete a comprehensive crime scene report, and produce a quality crime scene sketch. Basic techniques as well as computer applications will be used to accomplish these tasks. Officer evaluations will include written examinations, evaluation of notes taken, sketches, and report writing skills.
