Management of Evidence and Recovered Property

This two-day program is designed to provide participants with a thorough understanding of the purposes, procedures, and policy development issues related to the custody of evidence and recovered property. Participants will examine several methods and procedures for storing property, discuss evidence and property control records and learn effective methods for improving the security, control, and disposition of evidence and recovered property. This program is intended for all sworn and civilian law enforcement personnel—administrative, command, supervisory, and line— who have responsibility for the security, control, or disposition of evidence and recovered property. Enrollment in this program is restricted to 40 participants.
