This course explores a variety of issues designed to help field training officers manage their probationary employees. Topics include: Role of the Field Training Instructor; Liability Issues; Evaluation Guidelines and Remedial Training Documentation; Learning Methodologies; Generational Differences; Understanding Behavioral Diversity; Leadership Tools; Organizational Values; and Understanding Stress. The course begins at 8:00 a.m. and concludes at 5:00 p.m. each day.
