40 Hours
This course is designed to teach participants how to provide instruction using practical applications and learning principles. Topics will include: Principles of Adult Learning; Research Practices and Techniques; Methods of Instruction; Testing and Evaluation; Communicating Clearly; Designing Lesson Plans and Instructional Objectives; and Utilizing Visual Aids. The course begins at 8:00 a.m. and concludes at 5:00 p.m. each day. Class size is limited to 14 officers.
