This course is designed for law enforcement and school-based supervisory personnel with oversight for School Resource Officer programs. During this interactive one-day seminar, participants are exposed to best practices, information, strategies and leadership applications intended to increase the effectiveness of their School Resource Officer programs. The seminar will focus on the following essential components of effective School Resource Officer programs: policies, physical protection strategies, psychological climate of schools, partnerships, and programs. The course begins at 8:30 a.m. and concludes at 4:30 p.m.
