40 Hours
This 40-hour course is to provide continued development for experienced school resource officers. This course reviews and updates the knowledge and skills that SRO’s need to continue to effectively perform in a school environment. Also the course will provide additional skills and programs for the experience officer to identify and diffuse potentially dangerous situations on campus. Within this course are oral presentations, videotaped practical exercises and multiple discussions. SROs attending this class must have successfully completed the SRO I Basic course. The course will begin at 8:00 a.m. and concludes at 5:00 p.m. each day.
