Cyber Bullying and Crime

This course is designed to share with SROs, school administrators, and other school personnel a workable definition of cyber bullying and crimes as it relates to the school campus and to offer some strategies that have been successful in intervention and enforcement. This course will also help participants recognize characteristics of cyber bullying and crime and how to effectively deal with it. Course topics include: Types of Cyber Bullying Acts; Roles Involved in Cyber Bullying; The Anti-Bullying Law; Types of Cyber Crimes; and Various Laws that Apply to Cyber Crimes. The course begins at 8:30 a.m. and concludes at 4:30 p.m.
