7 Hours
This 7-hour course is designed to provide school resource officers, school administrators, school nurses, school security officers, and counselors with a systematic approach to recognize the signs and symptoms of individuals in the academic environment who are using and are impaired by drugs, in order to provide early intervention. This training will help participants identify certain types of popular drugs, “up and coming” drugs, designer drugs, illicit drugs and legal drugs (pharmaceutical) and the laws that pertain to their enforcement. The course begins at 8:30 a.m. and concludes at 4:30 p.m.
