Child abuse is a huge problem across our nation. SROs and school personnel as are in a prime position to detect, suspect, and report abuse. This course is designed to help the participant recognize, understand, and report suspected child abuse. The responsibility of SROs and school personnel as a mandated reporter will be reviewed including instructions on where to report suspected abuse, how to report, and the importance and necessity of reporting. The course begins at 9:00 a.m. and concludes at 4:00 p.m.
