Crime Scene Digital Photography and Imaging
This course is intended for individuals who are actively working in law enforcement and who have a basic knowledge and understanding of Adobe® Photoshop.® It is recommended that all individuals have a minimum of two years’ experience working in their respective forensic environment. Upon completion of this program, attendees will have a thorough understanding of forensic digital imaging concepts and how various image processing techniques can aid in the investigative process. At the end of each block of instruction, students must successfully complete a practical exercise to demonstrate that the required learning objectives were achieved.
• This course is 28 hours.
• Class hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• This course is not a photography instructional or crime scene photography class.
• All participants are required to bring a digital camera with flash and digital media.
