Microsoft Word is a full-feature word processor that enhances the professionalism of written communication and documentation. Word can help in more than creating letters and memos. This software can also be utilized to create graphics and tables for newsletters, notification posts, reports, and brochures. Major topics to be covered include: Basic Document Skills; Basic Text Editing; Printing; Checking Spelling and Grammar; Formatting; Working with Tabs; Working with Numbers and Bullets; Using AutoCorrect and AutoText; and Practical Tips for Increasing Productivity. A prerequisite for this course is Introduction to Computers, or have a working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and computer navigation skills.
