This three-day, advanced level course places
an emphasis on ensuring that officers comprehend modern
management and leadership concepts. Topics include: Ethics;
Situational Leadership; Succession Planning; Organizational
Change; Motivation; and Mentoring. This course will begin at
8:00 a.m. and conclude at 5:00 p.m. each day.

The Criminal Justice Institute’s Supervision Courses enable officers to obtain more information regarding supervision principles and assists them in the day-to-day performance of their job. The goals of these courses remain consistent: (1) improve one’s ability to better supervise and manage an agency; (2) improve one’s ability to interact more effectively with citizens and fellow workers; and (3) develop additional education or skills that benefit the law enforcement profession.
