This course acquaints the law enforcement officer with a
variety of crime prevention programs and their use as community
policing tools. Crime is a costly and demoralizing problem that
affects all communities. Crime prevention is a simple and direct
approach that protects potential victims by anticipating the
possibility of attack and eliminating or reducing the
opportunity for it to occur. This course begins at 9:00 a.m. and
concludes at 4:00 p.m.
