Drug traffickers, human smugglers, and others involve the
spiritual world in their trade for protection from law
enforcement and other criminal organizations. This course will
include information concerning Jesus Malverde, “Patron Saint of
Drug Traffickers”, Juan Soldado, “Patron Saint of Illegal
Aliens”, Santa Muerte, San Simon, and other saints or spirits
that drug traffickers and others pray to for protection from law
enforcement. Photos, video, and paraphernalia that drug
traffickers may have in their possession will be examined. This
course is beneficial to law enforcement officers who may
encounter these items during or pursuant to an investigation.
