Surplus Equipment Available for Arkansas Police Departments and Sheriffs’ Offices

The Criminal Justice Institute is now accepting requests for a surplus of Dell Desktop Computers and CRT Monitors. The computers, which were originally purchased in 2003, include a CD-ROM and floppy drive, 512 MB Ram, a Network Interface Card and 20 to 80 Gig Hard Drives. The computers have Windows XP installed on them and have been recently updated.

 

Also available are 3 VCR's.

 

To request equipment, you must complete an Equipment Donation Request Form. The Form can be completed online, mailed, or faxed. Completed forms can be submitted by mail to 7723 Colonel Glenn Road, Little Rock, AR 72204 or fax to 501-565-3081. Once your request is processed, you will be notified by e-mail the status of your request. Please make sure you include your e-mail address on the equipment donation request form. Those agencies selected to receive equipment will be able to pick up all items at the Criminal Justice Institute. If an agency is unable to retrieve items from the Institute, arrangements can be made for equipment to be delivered. CJI staff periodically travel to each region of the State, and deliveries can be scheduled accordingly.

Pursuant to CJI policy, equipment will be distributed to Arkansas Law Enforcement agencies according to demonstrated need.
