Principles of Supervision and Leadership ONLINE



COURSE DESCRIPTION: An officer’s ability to supervise staff effectively is critical to a department’s goal of maintaining stability in its agency and in the community it serves. Principles of Supervision ONLINE is a comprehensive online course that presents an overview of a law enforcement supervisor’s role and addresses what is expected of those who are in leadership positions. Officers will learn techniques that can be used to guide the work of others as well as manage their own productivity. Tools for creating an environment that encourages department personnel to do their best work, become team players, and learn the value of managing conflict in the workplace will also be given.
