Arkansas Safe Schools Conference: June 26-27, 2017


The Criminal Justice Institute, in conjunction with the Arkansas Safe Schools Association, the Office of the Attorney General, the Arkansas Department of Education, and the Arkansas Department of Human Services, will hold the 13th Annual Arkansas Safe Schools Conference on June 26-27, 2017, at the Wyndham Riverfront Hotel in North Little Rock. This year's conference is an exceptional opportunity for participants to receive training on best practices in school safety, security, intervention/prevention, and emergency preparedness planning.

Continuing Education Credits
Conference presentations have been approved by the Arkansas Department of Education as professional development hours for educators. Sworn law enforcement officers will receive CLEST credit.

CONFERENCE ATTENDEE REGISTRATION: The registration fee is $125. (Purchase orders will be accepted.) 

Conference attendee room rate is only $94.00 per night single occupancy and $10.00 each additional person. This rate includes breakfast. You may make hotel reservations by calling the hotel toll free at 1-866-657-4458 or the hotel directly at 501-907-4823.  To get the special rate of $94.00 per night, please mention you are attending the Arkansas Safe Schools Conference.  The deadline to make room reservations for the conference rate is June 4, 2017.
