Stress Management for Law Enforcement ONLINE

Unmanaged stress can be very dangerous for the human mind and body.  Policing, by nature, can be very stressful as new challenges can be presented to officers on a daily basis. This class is designed to help officers recognize the dangers of excessive and un-managed stress. Participants will explore typical stressors law enforcement officers face, the likelihood of chronic stress in an officer’s life, and the negative effects stress causes will be discussed. Officers will be encouraged to find an outlet in their lives to help them manage the unavoidable stress they will encounter.
