CyberCrimes: The Investigative Response
This four day basic course is designed to instruct law enforcement officers on techniques in recognizing potential sources of electronic evidence and to safely and methodically preserve and collect items of evidentiary value. Topics include Internet Crimes against Children; Teen Sexting; Cyber Bullying; Identity Theft and Fraud; and Investigating Traditional Crime with Technology Evidence. The course will also include a block of instruction on Federal Child Exploitation Statutes. The course is delivered utilizing a blended learning approach that incorporates instructor-led classroom lecture in conjunction with hands-on computer applications.
