Good safety measures are essential for law enforcement professionals; however, it is equally important that officers learn skills that may help save their lives in the line of duty, or the life of another. This four-hour block of instruction will provide an overview and justification for Self Aid/Buddy Aid programs and training.  Participants will review the history and science behind the development of safety programs, review case studies, and learn key components needed in safety kits.  This course is recommended for all law certified enforcement officers.

COURSE OBJECTIVE

At the conclusion of this course, participants will be able to render a number of safety techniques in potentially life threating situations.
