I hope this communication finds each of you and your loved ones healthy and safe!  Previously, it was communicated that, due to the COVID-19 crisis, all classroom-based CJI classes were cancelled through April 17th.  Due to the continued spread of COVID-19 in Arkansas and the need to continue to prioritize the safety of our students and staff, all CJI classroom-based courses scheduled to be delivered prior to June 1st will be cancelled.  Many of these courses will be rescheduled for the fall.

With respect to completing the remaining sessions of the School of Law Enforcement Supervision (SLES) and Crime Scene Technician Certificate Program (CSTCP), we are making every effort to ensure these programs are completed in a manner that makes the safety of our students, staff and instructors our top priority.  All students currently enrolled in these programs will have the opportunity to graduate.  In the relatively near future, members of our staff will be communicating directly with the officers and deputies enrolled in these programs about reschedule dates and any other potential future changes.

Please know we are extremely grateful for all you do for your community!!  We will continue to update you when needed.  However, please do not hesitate to contact me or any of our staff if you have questions.  Most of our staff continue to work remotely and are available to help you and your agency.  Updates to several of our online courses will be available soon.  Thanks so much for your patience and understanding during this unprecedented time.

Please stay safe!!

Best,
Doc
