Communities seeking Maltreatment and DEC Accreditation should establish a firm commitment to this program, from EACH Core Partner Organization, prior to completing the formal application process. Once a community application is received, reviewed and accepted, CJI will begin working with you to establish dates for the initial two-day Implementation and Leadership Workshop.

Application: Local community leaders expressing formal interest in pursuing Maltreatment and DEC Accreditation with CJI should complete the application process as listed below:

  1. Complete the Application Form and email the signed form to Brenda Howard at [email protected]
  2. Core Partner Organizations should provide 5 years of baseline data as specified on your application form.

The Application Form serves as an agreement between CJI and the highest-ranking county/local officials in the Core Partner Organizations to pursue Maltreatment and DEC Accreditation.
