Use of Social Media for Law Enforcement

COURSE DESCRIPTION: Social Media outlets and other forms of online communication technology have become an everyday tool for interacting with others. As Social Media continues to evolve, it is imperative that law enforcement personnel understand how conducting online investigations can help to optimize criminal investigations. An examination of popular social media sites will be discussed in class and useful investigative tips will be given.

• This class is 4 hours.
• Class hours are 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. .


TARGET AUDIENCE:  This course is designed for all certified law enforcement officers.
