Nominations for SLES Due August 2
THE FALL SESSION OF THE SCHOOL OF LAW ENFORCEMENT SUPERVISION (SLES) WILL BE HELD AT THE CRIMINAL JUSTICE INSTITUTE BEGINNING IN SEPTEMBER.
This program provides an excellent opportunity for law enforcement professionals to receive a foundation on which they can build progressive careers in leadership. Consisting of lectures, test, reading assignments and a required research paper, this innovative four-week training continues to prepare first-line and advanced level supervisors for increased responsibility within their agencies and communities. Distinguished lecturers recognized as experts in their profession and other exceptional speakers provide instruction that give administrators excellent opportunities to develop and cultivate their management skills.
SLES will be held at the Criminal Justice Institute on the following dates:
Week One: September 9-13, 2019
Week Two: October 21-25, 2019
Week Three: November 18-22, 2019
Week Four: December 9-13, 2019
Letters of nomination are required for officers to attend this specialized course. The deadline for nominations is August 2, 2019. Nominated officers must have reached the minimum rank of sergeant to attend. Heads of law enforcement agencies should direct correspondence and letters nominating their candidates to Dr. Cheryl P.
