Conflict Resolution for Supervisors
Effective communication is one of the simplest, yet most effective, tools supervisors can use for problem solving.
Conflict Resolution for Supervisors in a two-day course designed to aid law enforcement professionals in developing ways to communicate across differences.
By practicing proper communication skills, the supervisor can knock down barriers that may cause turmoil and conflict in agencies.
This class will be available April 17-18 at the Hot Springs Police Department.
Course participants will learn:
- Common sources of interpersonal conflict in order to identify and address them in the workplace
- Conflict mediation strategies that they will be able to apply in the workplace.
- Communication strategies to suit different communication styles of their employees.
- To measure their Social Intelligence Quotient to help employees measure theirs.
- How their perceptions of others could influence how they communicate with others.
This class is designed for all certified law enforcement officers but is especially helpful to those in roles of supervision.
