Major crimes scenes, especially homicides, often contain blood pattern evidence that may be difficult to interpret. This four-day course is designed to introduce detectives, investigators, and crime scene personnel to the nature and value of bloodstain evidence. Utilizing hands-on exercises, students will be trained in the proper recognition and documentation of bloodstain pattern evidence. Proper procedures and documentation are imperative for reconstruction of events at a crime scene.
