Law enforcement officers and elected law enforcement officials benefit greatly from knowing the responsibilities and procedures associated with executing different civil processes stipulated and required by Arkansas law. This course will provide the student with the latest updates to assist them in understanding the area of civil process. Participants will learn to recognize the frequent trouble areas to avoid. Topics will include: Types of Court Orders, Mechanics of Serving Papers, and Remedies to Help Curb Costs Incurred by Agencies During an Eviction. At the end of the course, officers will have knowledge that will enable them to effectively carry out their responsibilities in administering civil processes utilizing the procedures required by the laws of the state. This course is designed for all certified law enforcement officers.
