Conquering the Challenges of Modern Police Supervision
Today’s police officers face a myriad of challenges and obstacles. Their supervisors face these same challenges, and others! As new challenges emerge, police supervisors must rise to the challenge for the benefit of the mission of their agency and the professional well-being and safety of their officers.
Today’s police supervisors must also ‘lead’ their officers for the good of the community, the responsibility that goes with the badge, as well as the liability that comes with the rank. More importantly, today’s police supervisors must motivate officers who are exceedingly affected, negatively, and emotionally, by the antipolice rhetoric, the defund the police movement, and several other negative issues facing police officers.
This interactive, immersive, and highly dynamic supervision and leadership training course helps students (officers, aspiring supervisors, supervisors, command staff, etc.) identify the challenges facing today’s supervisors and helps them devise effective strategies and tactics for conquering these challenges. Students are instructed how to motivate, inspire, and empower officers to be professional, community-oriented, respectful and leaders.
