Crime Scene Reconstruction and Interpretation
This four-day course is designed to demonstrate the methodology and techniques used in the reconstruction and interpretation of crime scenes. Starting with actual cases, participants will examine photographs and physical and testimonial evidence. They will analyze this information to develop a theory, supported by the case facts. This course includes demonstrations and hands-on practicals designed to challenge the participant. Each participant should bring an unsolved case to be presented to and analyzed by the group. The case file, preferably crimes against persons case, should include all statements and reports, photographs, and sketches.
