COURSE DESCRIPTION: This course provides rural law enforcement executives and investigators with the knowledge, skills, and resources for establishing a victim-centered response as part of an effective investigation.

Topics include: The Dynamics of Sexual Assault, First Responder, Evidence Collection Techniques, and A Prosecutor’s Perspective.

Target Audience: Rural law enforcement officers, investigators, Chiefs, Sheriffs, and command staff.

This course is federal grant-funded training and is specifically for rural states and all territories. Also included are rural areas as defined by The Office of Rural Health Policy (ORHP). To determine your eligibility please visit:
