Managing Interviews and Interrogations

This seven hour course aims to define the criteria for obtaining truth from suspects without the use of promises or threats, through the use of observations, questioning, sound reasoning, and understanding, without compromising the interviewer’s integrity.

The following topics will be discussed: REID Nine Steps of Interrogation; Common Interview Tactics; Criminal Investigations; and Definition of a Theme.

This course is designed for investigators, detectives, and all certified law enforcement officers who may interview suspects and witnesses.
