Shooting Scene Investigation

Through a live fire event exercise, utilizing a variety of weapons, participants will be able to construct their own mock crime scenes.  Using these mock crime scenes, participants will determine bullet paths, ejection patterns, and glass fracture patterns. Types of firearms, firearm terminology, angle of penetration, and shot sequencing will also be discussed. Eye and ear protection, and a bullet resistant vest are mandatory for enrollment. Participants should wear casual clothing that may become soiled during practical exercises.
