Smartphone Applications for Crime Scenes

You never leave home without it…your smartphone. So why not utilize it? This two-day course will explore the various applications for smartphones and external equipment that can be utilized to document crime scenes. Smartphones are word processors, digital cameras, video recorders, and dictation devices all in one. Hands on instruction with real time crime scene applications and use of satellite imagery will be utilized. Other topics covered include legal parameters, shortfalls, case documentation, and crime scene sketches. This course is perfect for the patrol officer or investigator who has to process crime scenes and may not have access to a DSLR camera.
