The Methamphetamine Challenge for Law Enforcement Executives Online National
This online course, developed in partnership with the Arkansas Sheriffs’ Association and the Arkansas Association of Chiefs of Police, provides an overview of the methamphetamine problem. A management perspective of awareness, employee safety, equipment, training needs, and reporting issues are emphasized to assist law enforcement executives and local municipal officials to most effectively combat methamphetamine production and abuse in their communities. Legal and liability issues, online resources, community awareness, drug abuse treatment and effective agency response to drug endangered children are included.
Registration is reserved for Sergeants and above. Chiefs of Police, Assistant Chiefs, Sheriffs, Under Sheriffs, Chief Deputy Sheriffs, Majors, Captains, Lieutenants, and Sergeants are encouraged to participate in this course.
