The primary purpose of this course is to identify and demonstrate the uses of forensic light sources with photography. Students will be instructed on using the forensic light source to locate difficult evidence to include biological, hairs, fibers and enhancement of fingerprints in the lab and on crime scenes. Participants are encouraged to bring their own light source.

Students are required to bring a digital camera (digital SLR preferred) with instruction manual, standard lens, macro lens, batteries for camera and flash, digital media, off camera flash with instruction manual, remote flash cord to connect flash to camera and a tripod.
