Promotional graphic for 'Striking Out Opioid Abuse' event at Dickey-Stephens Park on Saturday, April 20, at 4:05 P.M., featuring a baseball theme on a red background.

Join us at Dickey-Stephens Park on Saturday, April 20, at 4:05 pm and help us Strike Out Opioid Abuse.

While the Arkansas Travelers take on the Frisco RoughRiders, the Criminal Justice Institute (CJI) will be giving away free naloxone kits to the first 150 people who visit our booth. Naloxone is a medication that can be used to temporarily block the effects of an opioid overdose and has been effectively used by first responders to prevent deaths due to opioid overdose.

We will have a booth set up with opioid information, health literacy materials, and promotional items.

Jarad Harper, Assistant Special Agent in Charge for the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, will throw out the first pitch!

It’s also Wrestling Night…stick around after the game for post-game matches featuring Memphis Wrestling.

Come join the fun! Visit the Arkansas Travelers online for ticket information:
