CJI’s Use of Force Online class is adding new content!

Duty to Intervene, a two-hour training, has been incorporated into CJI’s Use of Force Online class. This will increase the credit hours for Use of Force Online from six hours to eight hours.

Officer intervention, or lack of intervention, in policing events has become increasingly scrutinized in recent years. To empower officers to intervene, whether physically or verbally, when an intervention is warranted, a law enforcement agency’s Duty to Intervene policy should describe when an officer should intervene, if improper force is being used, and how these incidents should be reported and documented. These are the type of topics that will be explored during this two-hour additional training.

Use of Force Online is offered monthly. REGISTER TODAY!
